Over at Better Langley, Brad Richert, the realtor and amateur urbanist, has attempted to compile a comprehensive listing and description of all the proposed high rise developments in Langley Township and City at present.

The amount of development in Langley (including some 30-odd potential towers) means we’re at a critical juncture in our development that will shape the look and feel of our community for decades and decades to come.

Richert raises valid questions about infrastructure, livability and municipal-provincial relations that are worth considering, but his greatest service is in pulling together and presenting all this information so Langley residents can better understand the changes and choices we are faced with, and evaluate things for ourselves.
